Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster Leader Specific Training
Training will be held on 3 consecutive Tuesday nights.
Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster Leader Specific Training is part of the basic training for troop Scoutmasters or Assistant Scoutmasters. It focuses on what a Scoutmaster or Assistant Scoutmaster needs to know, needs to be, and needs to do. Topics will include roles of the Scoutmaster in a boy-led troop, the patrol method, troop organization, the outdoor program, the advancement program, and an introduction to troop administration.
Training will be held on 3 consecutive Tuesday nights. They are:
- Part 1 – September 6, 2011, from 7:00pm to 9:30pm
- Part 2 – September 13, 2011, from 7:00pm to 9:30pm
- Part 3 – September 20, 2011, from 7:00pm to 9:30pm
Note, all 3 parts must be completed to be credited with this training. There is no cost. Register at the door.
